Just popped ‘Favourite Worst Nightmare’ by Arctic Monkeys into the CD player. The difference with the high-quality mp3 on my iPod is audible. It’s been a while since the difference has been so telling. There’s ‘air’ in between the different sounds. The reverb on the guitar amps actually breathes.
